1.4 Straps

• The straplines for all articles will be in italics.

•If a non-English word occurs in the strap, it will be in roman font or within single quotes (also subject to redesign).

○Example: The song played on the nadaswaram.

•There will be no full stop at the end of the strap.

•Very brief text items, such as ‘Things we wear’, will not have a strap.

•Character limit: 140 (this is a soft limit that could change with the upcoming redesign).
