2.11 Style check: the final editor (and style-checker, if the two are different persons) must carefully go through all the text at the end of the content editing process to ensure that all the style elements are consistent with PARI. That will eliminate discrepancies.

—Check for misspellings (PARI uses UK spellings).

—Check all punctuation, including:

>full stops/commas/colons/ semi-colons

>single and double quotation marks (where applicable)

>capital letters

>italics for publication titles, for non-English words, for straps and captions

>titles’ style for words such as president, prime minister

>symbols

>acronyms

>all hyphens and en dashes.
