1.6 Author bios and attribution
•Author bios (one-two liners) will be in italics, at the end of the article.
○Example: Jaideep Hardikar is a Nagpur-based journalist working with The Telegraph, Kolkata.
There will be a full stop at the end of the last sentence (unlike in captions and straps).
•If an attribution line is to be used (for example: This story originally appeared in The Times of India on August 27, 1997) it too will be in italics and the author bio will follow the attribution, but in the next line and without a line space.
○Example: This story originally appeared in the Times of India on August 11, 2015.
Priyanka Kakodkar is editor, Special Projects, The Times of India.
