2.6 Full names: use the full names of people, to the best extent possible, and especially in the first instance. In subsequent instances, you can vary the name. (See sub-section 4.11 on ‘Names’ in the Style Guide in this document). At times, the author may have done interviews under circumstances (for example, in a train, with a large group of people) where it was not possible to ask for and note all the full names. Sometimes, the person being quoted may not want their full name to be used. But in many instances, authors forget to ask for the full names, particularly of the poor, and editors too miss out this detail. Please rectify this.
